My boyfriend casually said “i hope your future husband is a good man” and i got mad because that shows he doesn’t think of us as a long term relationship and he clearly doesn’t love me if he wishes i date someone else later or marry someone else. Am i rightfully angry?

Instead of getting mad ask why? Why is he saying that? Talk to him. Ask him if there’s something going on that you should know about. Maybe he doesn’t like certain things you do. Maybe he was joking.

Why wouldn’t he tell me if i did something wrong and ask me to change it first rather than saying this to me? He wasn’t joking unfortunately.

Because honestly let’s face it you can’t really be honest w women. Women want honesty but when you’re honest w them they get their feelings hurt, they get mad, they cry. I don’t know what type of personality you have but maybe he feels he can’t talk to you because of how you react to things. In all honesty do you say you’re easy to talk to. Or do you get argumentative, get emotional easy, etc?

I’m not the easiest to talk to, but in my opinion what he said is worse than whatever else he could’ve said cause now i’m thinking that he doesn’t love me and this was his way of letting me know that he doesn’t want me.

Ok so this is partial on you as well for making things harder for him to talk to you. It’s not just him. He gave you a hint, although it wasn’t the best way to go about it. Most men don’t tell women things for the exact same reason you’re saying. What he said may or may not be worse than whatever else he could have said. That’s an opinion of yours not a fact.
