My boyfriend said he wants a break but he is already talking to a girl?

We had a really bad fight, and on my side i feel like he needs to apologize and even that won’t undo the harm he did. However he NEVER apologizes for anything, and he feels like i’m forcing him to bow down if i request an apology so i won’t request it. He rather suggested a “break” cause he thinks by time i’ll forget what he did ill forgive him and move on. He tried it for 2 days and when it didn’t work out he came back and told me he had a new girl in his life and they are just texting and its just the talking stage that same day he tried to sext me. I was disgusted and i turned him down and i said don’t you have a girl now? He was like ITS JUST THE TALKING STAGE🤣 im so sick of him right now and obviously i feel like i need to end everything however we’ve been together for 4 years i find it difficult… any tips?

Dang girl, this guy sounds like a total jerk. I can't believe after being together for 4 years he pulls that kind of stuff! That's super messed up that he asked for a break and then immediately started trying to hook up with another girl.

I think you're right to be disgusted - he clearly can't be trusted at all. Saying it's "just talking" is such a lame excuse when he already jumped into moving on so fast. He seems totally shady and like he doesn't respect you or your relationship.

As hard as it is after so long, I think you need to end it for good. You deserve way better than a dude who won't even apologize when he does something wrong, tries to manipulate you with "breaks," and moves onto other girls right away. He's showing you who he really is - don't settle for that kind of disrespect.

It'll be tough, but staying with a jerk will only end up making you more miserable. Surround yourself with real friends for support during this. In time you'll heal and find someone who treats you right. You got this - be strong and don't look back! This dude ain't worth any more of your time. You'll be so much happier once he's in the past for good.
