I'm now with someone who once rejected me back in school, but it was in a nice way and she said that she just didn't want a boyfriend at that time. We still kept in touch as friends for a while but I eventually gave up because it wasn’t progressing into anything. She remained single though and gave every boy the same response, so I knew it was a genuine rejection and I respected that. She knew what she wanted at the time, and in hindsight, a relationship at that young age wouldn’t have been good for either of us. Then almost 5 years later we crossed paths again, she got chatting with me, asked for my number, and just over a year later we’re engaged.

Nope. I'm pretty in shape and I think I'm kind enough to the people around me. If a girl rejected me in the past, it was likely because she didn't find my physical features attractive (which I can't help because I'm in shape already) or she wasn't okay with where I was in life. If she's not attracted to my features, that's fine. Everyone has their preferences. But I'm not about to get with someone that doesn't find me attractive. And if she's only willing to date me because I got my life together, I'm definitely not interested in dating her because that's the more shallow reason in my opinion.

Most of the guys that rejected me, like mostly all, were kind and gentle and regretful that they disappointed me by rejecting me. I am not offended unless the rejection was in a disrespectful or callous way. But I have a boyfriend so I’m not available.

There was a girl who rejected me in my 20's. We weren't friends though she was sorry that she couldn't be with me cause she was already in a serious relationship. Last time I saw her was about 20 years ago with her husband and new born daughter. Before that was when she visited my dad at the hospital and her mom had announced she was expecting a baby at 19 years old. Honestly wouldn't get together with her cause I don't have feelings for her like I did in high school. I was pretty depressed when she was with someone else though eventually got over it.

If you would have asked me 20 years ago it would have been a hard no. There was a girl in high school who found me completely repulsive freshman year to the point that when our assigned seats were near each other she complained until the teacher changed it. I had a huge crush on her since 7th grade, but to this day she doesn’t know that. Fast forward sophomore and junior years and she would say hi and have short conversations. Senior year we had a class together and she was pretty much begging me to hangout with her. I was super confused and all I could remember was how she previously treated me. At a graduation party I got drunk and she sat on my lap as I felt her up. She called me later and I just couldn’t.
I regret my decision now. So if she, a person who once rejected pursued me again I wouldn’t hesitate to say yes

No, no and no again. Women do not deserve a second chance. This sounds like a typical woman rejecting a certain type of guy when they in their prime and then later on choosing to be with that guy. Us men are not toys on a shelf or in a box under the bed waiting to be picked up and played with.

Yes, but it depends on the circumstances and rejection delivery.

If you're both very busy with little time and she communicated that I would be patient and persistent.

On the other hand, if she gave a fake number or ghosted your advance then I'd drop contact.

That goes without saying, if she rejected you upon introduction then she isn't worth your time nor a revisit at a later date

No. They rejected me for a reason. That will always be there and it's hard to have a different mindset after that. Would always be wondering why and what changed their mind.

nope, would never fully trust them, always wonder what their true motive was in getting back together. They rejected you for a reason and over time may choose to do so again. Why invite that negativity back into your life.
