Why do you want to be in a relationship? How do you envision your marriage?

I want to find someone who I look at and see a friend and a teammate. We will go out often and enjoy nights in too. We’d be on the same page nearly at all times. She’ll know where I am and I’ll know what she’s doing.

I picture us going fishing and if I really hit the lottery she’ll go dirt biking with me. Or at least snowboarding. We might have so many kids, the hardest part would be finding everyone before we leave. I’m sure we’ll find something badass to do.

That’s me dreaming a bit. Sometimes on social media and in person too I see people being so negative and talking about status and money. Can you think of less important things? No wonder nobodies relationship works.

What do you want your life to look like, what do you want out of your relationship? What lifestyle are you looking for?

Marriage should only be undertaken with someone who you find to be your twin soul... your perfect match. And if that isn't something you find... then don't get married. Stay boyfriend/girlfriend...

Yes, I agree with you 100% about all the negativity. Obviously a lot of people are talking from the perspective of having struggled with painful experiences of their own -- I know I have mine, however I've done my best not to let that taint my ability to love and be loved. (Having confessed this, I can also confess that some guys out there really really know how to make a girl want to run from love and marriage with every ounce of her strength.)

My relationship would be simple, straightforward, honest and a little bold... because when you love someone with your whole mind, heart and body you're able to fully open yourself to them and boldly love with one another no matter what.

Why do i want a relationship? Imagine for a moment, how good it feels when someone loves you romantically and genuinely cares about you; how it feels to wake the next day and it still continues; how nice it is to have someone who understands you for who you are and accepts you, even with all of your flaws; feeling the joy of cuddling together during a movie, and teasing eachother jokingly; all of the joys you have in a relationship... now, imagine never feeling those joys; being constantly rejected most of your life, because no one can see you in a romantic sense; being alone; only focusing on bettering yourself while those around you judge you for being single; people thinking you're rejected, because you're an absolute garbage person, when that is far from the truth; you do everything to can to keep from being the assholes you hate, and still confused why no one wants you romantically, except for those you find super unattractive... that is why i want a relationship. To experience the joy of romance, with someone i can call my best friend; with someone i can full heartedly say i trust; to have a healthy relationship filled with fun and joy... to not feel so romantically ostracize from society.

At this point I'm more in love with the fantasy of what love used to be than anything, whenever I'm in a serious relationship I tend to break up in about 1.5 years, my partners have been so selfish, hypocritical, negative, vague, unreasonable and materialistic, I just cannot relate to it and become so unhappy when with them. This kind of transactional relationship is something that's being normalized and something I'm too traditional and family-oriented to accept as a life for me.

Life with ex hubby.
1. fun. Didn’t know how to fight… when it did… it ended.
- we used to have lots of friends and company over and never knew how to be just us.
2. we travelled, did weekend activities.
3. had 2 kids… us still acting like two adult kids

now hubby…

1. raising kids together also along with ex hubby.

ex hubby has new wife as well and new baby. We offer to help with new baby. Because she is a first time mom at 47… so…

2. traveling the world and enjoying life.
we work as a team. I work he is a stay home dad and takes care of everything at home.
we are all doing really well. And hope others make life as exciting and happy as ours.

It’s needy women who can’t be alone, that want marriages and relationships.

I only seek men in police, ems, military, and firefighters. Men built like heroes or I’m not interested. Why pretend to be interested?
