My girlfriend posted a revealing photo on Instagram?

So my girlfriend (33) and I (37) have been dating for the past 5 years. All has been going well and like every couple we do have our bad times as well.

Currently she is on a working vacation abroad and today she posted a picture on Instagram of her at the beach. Just a full picture of her legs but it looks from the angle like she is completely nude.

Now here's the deal, I suffer from terrible anxiety and have had trust issues in the past. I have not said anything to her about that picture but I don't get the reason behind it!! Is it to gather attention from men on the platform? Or is it just a way of showing the world she is having a good time?

She hasn't done anything like this in a long time which also has me concerned?

She likes getting validation from other guys. Congrats, you're dating a female. I know you're feeling like it's because you aren't good enough, and you're kind of right. It's more like you're good enough, but she still wants to do better. Hypergamy doesn't shut off. It's basic human biology and the reason our species exists. You should just read about hypergamy and what your responsibilities are. If you want a quick summary: you need to be more masculine and she'll be less interested in sharing her femininity with other men.

Her legs on the beach isn’t revealing at all , calm down, you more than likely have nothing to worry about , most girls’ like taking pictures of their legs and feet in the sand , she is just happy she is on the beach

Ok, so to you I'd say remain calm and talk this out with her logically. Remember also that the leg pic thing is common enough on the IG crowd around your age over the summer. Best she didn't show more than the legs bc including the hips (depending on the swimsuit/bikini) would look EVEN MORE suggestive.

Don't make a big deal out of it, however, calmly let her know it bugged you and why. Ok?

2 steps you gotta have to take now in my opinion.

1. Communicate it to her, you're dating since 5 years. Saying that you ain't comfortable with the pic she posted shouldn't be a huge issue?

2. Seek therapy for your anxiety and other issues you mentioned. It may cost you your rl at some point.

You are well within your rights to ask her what the significance of that photo was. If she gets defensive, then you know something is wrong.

Just make sure when you ask you don't do it in an accusing way.

Did you ask her why she posted pic? I would say that's your fist person to talk to. If she was a at clothing optional beach so what. Lots of people do it and it only means she in comfortable in her own skin. If that's the case be happy for her and ask if she had a good time.
