Why Are We So Dismissive Of Our Beautiful, Plus Sized Ladies?

I keep reading comments from guys who are apparently less than stellar at the dating game, who ask whether they should consider dating full figured women, since they're striking out with the other body types and weight classes. I find this rude, offensive and short sighted. Plus sized women are mouthwateringly sexy, in my view, and should be placed at the very top of the list of most desirable women, not at the bottom.

I just wonder what these guys look like. Everyone sets "standards" for themselves and they're usually abnormally high. Heavier, less attractive girls, develop a crush on the athletic, good-looking, popular guy and vice versa lol... A lot of it is, should they realize they're not going to get the 10, because they're only a 4 or 5. There's a lot to your question, sissy, because you also have to consider them as having the attitude of, "just settling", for someone, ANYONE! It wouldn't be fair to her. I don't think anyone should feel like they need to just settle for someone but at the same time, they need to realize they probably won't ever find (actually get) what they think they should. You're one of the people contributing to the rapid decline of western society by claiming feelings are more important than what is objectively best for society and the individual. A doctor will tell you that being a obese is very unhealthy. And letting people believe that their individual feelings are the most important thing leads to people not caring to do things that are necessary to maintain and build society for the long term. You end up eventually with there not being enough workers to maintain water processing plants, power plants, plumbing systems, power plants, little things like delivering food to supermarkets and so on. We're already headed down this road. The number of useless "influencers" and "IG models" is exploding while the number of people who actually do important things is shrinking.

It all works itself out in the end. A guy maybe ugly AF but is in shape, so he can get an in shape ugly girl or a fat pretty girl. If he's fat but good looking, he can get an in shape girl ugly AF or a fat pretty girl. If he's fat and ugly, well, I think you know where I'm going with this. I just don't know why so many beautiful women are with fat ugly guys! You think they have money? Anyway, this is obviously a problem I've never run into and I feel sorry for losers like you and those other guy's, because I'm guessing the struggle is real.

Somewhat bigger, curvy ladies do have my preference... but there is most certainly a limit to how big.

5'3 and 197 lbs (my ex) is pushing things a little though; she is not ugly... but I am only 5'6 and 137lbs.

I agree with you on this one. It's primarily a cultural issue. And people find it difficult to broaden their point of view.

When someone is plus sized, that already tells me a lot about their personality.

Also I'm an extremely active person, if I can't even introduce my partner to a jog, then I will pass on that.

Haha it really doesn't well. I don't know how plus size is classed. I mean. Some guys would consider a size 12 or 14 too big over an 8 or 10...
But as a "curvy" lady myself I do have to interject on personality. Cos I think you mean fat = lazy. I go gym 4 days a week. Work. Run my household. I like going clubs and dancing until the wee hours. I used to jog 20 km over a week. I'd do 4 or 5km before work a few days a week. So I'm not lazy. But first, becoming a mother changed my shape. And not all of us "ping back". Also having a emergency cesarean and broken ankle shortly after my 2nd child hampered my post-birth exercise.
And after that... a bad relationship that did make me put on lots of weight due to being severely unhappy and distressed.
I know you don't care about all that (that's fine) and you are attracted to what u are attracted to (perfectly normal. I can't find myself attracted to a very overweight man either) so this post is more about just adding perspective to "fat = lazy".
There's nothing wrong with having a physical preference. Just don't presume to know thar person based on it.

I should add I did also lose the weight i gained in my bad relationship. Took a year and I lost 6 stone. Did get to a size 8-10. People told me I had lost too much and didn't suit me. Plus still didn't get rid of my mummy tummy. I've put some of that weight back on and am much more happy and accepting as I am. And I don't expect loads of guys to find me attractive. Enough do that I'm not too worried 😊

I should have been more specific about the personality aspect, and that's my fault. While being overweight doesn't point to laziness, I believe I can still make accurate judgments about people based on their physical appearance, though laziness isn't one of those traits I consider.

It really does mostly come down to personal preference, preconceived ideas and experiences. Nothing wrong with that. So long as people just they are not attracted without actually being mean to a person.
