I don't know about look “better”. But the longer you’re with someone you do start to resemble and look related which can be… odd. I don’t even think its a race thing. I got some exes of other race/ethnicities and even we started to resemble in facial features after a while 😭🤣 And the sound of our laughters too

Apparently that's not the case. Apparently people choose partners subconsciously based on similarities and familiarities.

Possibly right. I do like guys with chubby cheeks and smiles similar to my own. 🤣 i also prefer guys with a skintone similar to my own whether its because he's black with the same skintone or nonblack with a tan that makes him look my skintone or if he's hispanic or Asian with my skintone lol.

Not necessarily, but some gravitate towards each other subconsciously because they do resemble one another. Something in the back of the person's mind says, "this person is like me" even though that sense of instant familiarity is possibly just the result of the person having one or two similar features.

Yup in psychology, there's something called the similarity and familiarity attraction effect. And it's exactly as the name implies.

I think it sometimes completes the symmetry of the individual, depending on how they look together. Some couples enhance the symmetry while others not so much.

Men tend to pick parthers that are similar looking. That way it's easier to spot if the child isn't yours.
