Should I approach him?

I seriously need advice on this.. There's this guy in my gym, I like him a lot.. We've never talked to each other.. We just look at each other and smile or sometimes say Hi... Should I just go and tell him that I like him or should I say something else?

How do you know you like him if you've never spoken? SMH.

Try a small nod in greeting if he's actually looking at you. He'll know that it's ok for him to come say hi.

You are doing all that is expected of a girl. Before doing more, ask yourself, "Are you pretty enough to be a girl he would probably be interested in?" If so, go ahead. If not, don't.

She's doing all that's expected of a girl? She's not doing anything. Guys have been taught not to approach girls at the gym, so if she likes him it's up to her. Telling someone to second guess themselves about their looks before they approach people is a great way to give them self-esteem issues. Asking herself if she's pretty enough or not isn't gonna get her anywhere, it's up to him whether or not he's interested. If she doesn't shoot her shot, the answer will always be no.

@Kelley1 At a bar or some other social gathering maybe, but in most places, not anymore. Especially not at a gym. Women have trained men not to approach them at the gym, just looking at a girl is enough for a guy to be dragged through the mud and accused of creeping on her. Saying he thought it was okay because she smiled at him will only fan that fire more, and he'll be made out to look like an entitled douche, and sometimes even get him kicked out of the gym. It's just not worth the risk anymore.

And even if that weren't the case, smiling and saying "hi" is all a guy needs to do to let a girl know he's approachable too. The guy doesn't always have to be the one to make the first move.
