A guy changed his Hinge profile pic right after our first date?

Hey there.

So the reason I noticed this is because we mainly texted on Hinge and a little bit on WhatsApp.

We've been texting for about a month now, were supposed to meet but couldn't do that before.

Now we finally met yesterday, it was lovely. He already asked for a second date and was nice through the whole process.

I told him he looks very down to earth on his Hinge pics.

Today I went to see out messages and he changed his profile pic. This is the first time he's done ever since we started talking...

I know people multi-date etc but I mean... We just had a first nice date yesterday and now he changed his profile pic straight after.

Does this mean he didn't like it as much and is looking for other women?

I am 31 female and he's 32.

Yeah, it’s like he’s freshening up his page for other prospects. I think he would’ve deleted his page altogether and asked for your number if he felt a serious enough connection to just focus on you. It’s been a month now so he definitely has an idea about his level of interest in you.

I don't have the problem of him having other dates. That's fine. We're only getting to know each other.

But dude... RIGHT after the first date he went over to his profile and changed his main photo. He literally done it right after the date.

And he hasn't changed it in more than a month.

I don't know how disinterested you need to be to rush to your dating app profile and change pictures to attract more women...

He said he liked me /wants to meet me etc.

Just giving up now honestly.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. Men can be so fake, back when I used dating apps I had similar things happen. In one case, I’d been talking to a guy a little over a month before we were able to go on a date (we were both finish a semester). It was a Saturday night, he picked me up, we went on a successful date, then he took me home. He called me on his way home gushing about what a great time he had, complimenting me endlessly saying how much better I looked in person, then setting plans for brunch the next day. I sent a text Sunday morning to confirm and didn’t hear anything, he kept himself matched with me online for like 3 days after this, never said a word until finally he unmatched me and I never heard from him again. This isn’t me saying your situation is like mine, just that this happens, where men aren’t very honest despite what they’ve said.

Yeah I just checked his profile again and he definitely changed his main photo...

I mean to do that right after the date with someone surely means he was not impressed and is looking for someone better.
