How do I tell my boyfriend that he needs to clean his beard without hurting his feelings?

I like my guy's beard. I mean I really, really like it. I am a beard girl. Lately though, he has used food products in it. It doesn't smell as good as it did when we first began dating. How do I tactfully tell him that I love his beard but he needs to clean it.

Have you considered giving him a sensuous beard shampoo and condition? Beards can be a bit prickly stripped of the natural oils so good to condition. If you do, you should probably squat in his lap groin to groin to maximize the fun.

Look. Be honest I can tell you genuinely love him. Just tell him he needs to clean it. Tell him you love it. Even offer to help him clean it.

Be honest. Don’t allow things to fester inside because it can lead to resentment later on. Just tell him that you loved the way it smelled.

Just tell him you smell food in his beard when you kiss him. He should not be offended. I have had a small beard for 25+ years, but wash it thoroughly every night.
