Never done it and I don't plan to. If I give the word that I'm interested in dating, a ton of older ladies will shift into matchmaking mode, LOL. It's a contest for them. I'm just making sure I'm emotionally and practically in a good place for that, so I'm putting people off.

For myself I have checked out a few sites here and there and had 1 or 2 meetups but nothing that was truly worth any effort to brag on... not that I would kiss & tell... cuz I dont tend to do that unless it relays a lesson I've learned that someone else might benefit from hearing about the lesson.

Not really. I used it when I was younger back then, met a few guys from there and nothing really worked. I know some success stories though. I think it is just luck.

I have gone on a few dates and had a relationship out of it. You just got to be focused on why you're there. Agree to meet in person (public locations separately for the first date or two). Never ask for money or give it. Report scammers when you realize that they are trying to scam you.

Nah. I think cafes are better for meeting girls or even the classic pub or bar. You are probably going to be filtered out in dating apps and they are never going to replicate the I like her/He looks alright real world dynamic.

I shouldn't even call it a relationship, but it was one of those times when you unwittingly get caught up in someone's mental/emotional whirlwind of bullshit. We went on a couple of dates, and then she decides that I've inspired her to learn about Jesus and then started to date another guy who quickly discards her in short order.

Whatever, it's all good.

But then she hits me up one day to invite me to the club (she lives far enough away from me that this is not a place I would go if I weren't invited). I show up, then she tells me she has to use the bathroom as an excuse to ghost me and start chatting up her ex at the same club. When I say hi to her friends, they give me an extremely cold reception, so I took that as my cue to leave.
