Dating in your late 20s is a little different than dating in your teens... Consider what the guy likes and how you met him... Let him take the lead, but don't be overly shy/stand-offish. Save the first kiss for the second or third date...

Take a shower, get dressed in something nice that fits your style, not to revealing, put on some nice perfume. If your pictures show case make up wear that if they don't skip the make up. Be ready 15 minutes before hand. If you don't intend to pay order similar to the guy in terms of price (it is a respect thing and yes we do notice) keep the conversation flowing. Make sure it is both sides and not one sided. First date about 60% of the conversation should be about you 40% about him (of the stuff that pertains to you both) any other things are personal preference. Then go home. If things went well look for the second date and so on

Whatever you do on first date, have something called FUN and don't talk about serious subject, like what you plan to have on your gravestone.
Just hang out, have casual fun conversation and get know each other and make a conclusion if you're compatible.
