Do women like a more rougher edgier look?

Very rarely do I see the smooth face clean cut men who dress grown and casual style, you know.. fit in shape, with the H&M light colored shirt of whatever color, some fitted jeans and casual shoes. Or a guy that has a well groomed goatee if he does have facial hair with a clean cut clothing style or professional style. I usually see women with the guys that have either the rough bearded rugged biker look, with the tattoos or a style that's similar. He can even be a bit chubby or thick but she'll be with him over the clean cut neat guy who's fit with lean muscle. I see it often in most races. Not only that.. most of the rugged type guys have more attractive women physically than the clean cut.. is that a figment of my imagination or is it something to that? Soon you'll see every guy with tattoos, and a rugged beard, long hair, biker clothes, urban gear etc. Lol

That is what I tend to go for, minus the facial fuzz.

Why is that? I'm not knocking a woman's preference at all just curious. It kind of confuses most men because they hear all the time about having to be well put together, well groomed, looking like he is something in life, etc.. I feel with men it's very niche and specific as far as who they can attract and with women it's much easier as long as she looks at least more than decent with a little make up and not obese she could attract any type of man..
