Do you prefer girls with less makeup?

I didn’t have the time to get ready today and usually I wear a lot of makeup.

I wore a little bit (concealer and lipgloss) and I got so much more attention than usual! Do men really prefer girls with less makeup?

For context I am asking this question because my friend and I purposely went somewhere where we knew there’d be a lot of rich men lol (bored and single).

I think women look great with a bit of makeup, but I really dislike heavy makeup.

By heavy makeup I mean, unnatural-looking eye lashes, thick eye liner with points at the corners, black eyelashes, eye liner, and eyebrows on girls with light colored hair (what's up with black eye treatments on blondes and redheads?); smokey eye shadow or obvious eye shadow; obvious rouge and face contouring; and garish lipstick.

The "no makeup" makeup look rocks, though. A bit of concealer to even out skin tones; just a touch of rouge; eye lash mascara or natural-looking fake eye lashes and a bit of eye liner and eyebrow enhancement that compliments their hair color and makes their eyes a focal point; a touch of tasteful eye shadow; and a soft, not too garish or glossy, lipstick or lip gloss that makes their lips look soft and inviting.
That kind of makeup can make a woman glow while looking natural. If done right, a guy barely notices that she is wearing makeup.

I think most guys simply object to makeup that looks fake.

On certain occasions, brighter lipstick is totally appropriate.

Only if she looks beautiful naturally , if she doesn’t have natural beauty , then she is best to cover herself up as much as she can lol but if she is naturally beautiful? she doesn’t need make up at all to be honest with you , Some girls’ can wear make up the right way and some girls’ can not , sometimes a girl will over do it and make herself look like a clown So I prefer a girl with natural beauty that doesn’t need that much make up , I want to be able to wake up next to her without thinking to myself Damn I drank too much lol. Sadly I have experienced it before , so now I only prefer girls’ that don’t wear to much make up.

As a bisexual girl who knows pretty well how to do make-up, I actually prefer most girls with no to very very little (not only "natural", but actually no a lot of) make-up. Unless it's very expressive, like there's one girl/friend from university who always draws some cool dots or shapes on her face with white eyeliner and that feels less like trying to shape your face to adhere to the beauty standart and "hiding" your face as if you think it's not good enough, but moreso just adding some extra personality to it. You don't take away but you add, ya know. Also without make-up you can (with clean hands and consent) properly touch someones face without ruining their work ya know.

I try to take care of myself the best I can but I can’t help that I have some pimples and blemishes, I use makeup to cover it and there’s no question I look better with makeup

I know makeup makes a girl feel a certain way and that's her prerogative I don't blame her for that but take a good look with makeup and without it or just with a good tan and some eyeliner or something the eyeliner and good tan would win every time

ATTRRACTIVE  girls look much better with little to no fake-up/cake-up.  A little bit of eyeliner to emphasize and make their eyes more captivating on special occasions is all an attractive girl might benefit from. Anything more than that is a negative. But I admit that girls that are less attractive could probably benefit more from fake-up/cake-up.

Well, Men are not attracted to make up. Men are attracted to good-looking women. It’s science.
It's pretty simple. If u have good facial features and facial harmony, u don't need makeup. But if u don't have , u need a makeup to enhance your facial features. It's not bad too cause as long as a girl doesn’t wear lipsticks, I think most of the guys will assume she isn’t wearing any makeup at all but in reality she is wearing a makeup 💕

I don't know why women think it's attractive to have fat duck lips that are so slick and shiny it looks like she has drool on them, or 2-3 inch long fake lashes or football war paint like eyebrows (ombre I think it's called?) or cheeks as red or pink as a circus clown and so much foundation and concealer bronzer and whatever other shit they put on their face that it cakes and cracks the pores and you can tell there's got be like 5-10 layers of that product on their face.🤷🏻‍♀️😂

We don't all like the same things. I will say a friendly, kind and fun woman is the best and I'd prefer those things over anything. Make-up is your choice. If you feel good and like wearing it don't worry about what every guy likes cause you can't ever make everyone else happy nor should that be your responsibility. The right guy for you or anyone is just going to like you for who you are as a person.

Yes. This guy can't stand makeup. Why would you want to look like a plasticized doll and spend all of that money on cosmetics? Nail polish, lip gloss & perfume are just fine. If you want to add A TINY BIT of mascara or eyeliner that's good too but stop there.

I would PREFER little to no make-up. My ex-fiance never worse anything but lipstick and MAYBE a very light touch of rouge.
I used to know this gorgeous girl, Rhonda. She was a lot like Suzanne Summers but prettier. I hadn't seen her for 10 years or so and then, one day, I saw her at a concert and she was wearing thick dark eyeliner and looked like a raccoon!! Just a little touch, but I prefer natural for day-to-day situations. Maybe on a special occasion, a night out, a wedding, a bit of make-up will enhance your looks. But keep it simple. A bit of eye-liner to enhance your eyes is fine.

As for lipstick (see your follow-up question), I prefer as close to natural as possible. Bright pink or red is not what I like to see.

Well men obviously have evolved to select fertile looking women which means young -early 20's - and in good health. Skin is an indicator of health so men should respond to 'good skin'.

With heavier make up how attracted we are is probably a matter of how much we like the artistry of your face versus us knowing it is all fake.

A little make-up is just fine. A little more on special occasions is fine, too.
