To have food delivered to your workplace or during your lunch break is not really what I would call the best date. What can you talk about in just an hour or even less.

A serious date is a date where people take the time for each other in a stress free environment, in different clothing than the ones worn for work and perhaps with a glass of wine.

A workplace setting is hardly romantic and not really suited for that kind of get together.

Best would have been to be off duty and to take time for each other rather than to hurry through a lunch break.

Ask him for another date and you chose the settings that suit you. Good luck.
