Can you fall in love if you already have strong feelings for someone you can't have?

I feel a soul connection to a guy I can't have. I'm looking to date for a relationship. But I don't know if I can get feelings for someone like the ones I have for this person! Even when I had a boyfriend for a few months and said "I love you" to him cos he wanted me to... I never had the proper feelings for hun like I do this other guy.

It's definitely possible to develop really strong feelings for someone even if you know you can't actually be with them. Chemistry and connections between people happen in weird ways sometimes.

From your side, it sounds like you've already caught feelings hard for this one guy that you're not supposed to be with. That would make it really tough to open your heart to someone new. But at the same time, staying stuck on someone you can't have probably won't make you happy either in the long run.

My advice would be to try and go into any new dating experiences with an open mind. Even if your feelings for the "unattainable" guy are still there, at least give other people a real chance. Sounds like actually getting to know this dude better is opening your eyes some though. Sometimes we put people on pedestals in our minds without really seeing them for who they are. Now that the rose-colored glasses are off, it'll be way easier to lose those feelings.

It happened!! I'm over him. He's kinda gross even lol. Same pants for 3 days and said he even cums in them ewww. Rather than tissue or whatever.
I'm glad he came back in my life so I got closure as I was always still hooked.
