Say, BEHIND YOUR BACK, your male friend/acquaintance flirts with your girlfriend. Saying stuff like, "I would like to tap you" or other sexually suggestive stuff.

And she told you.

Would you be upset and confront your friend?

Think your girlfriend led him on?

Brush it off because you're not a jealous person?

Ladies, you can answer too if a female friend did the same thing.

I stopped talking to both of them. The guy kept coming back to ask what was up, “why the freezer treatment”… A mutual friend shared that it was all the girl’s doing. My boyfriend hadn’t paid her any mind. She told me to watch our backs with that girl….


Meanwhile, the girl was trying to poach my guy bc apparently HER boyfriend (a kid from class who was assigned to me as a study buddy … literally NOTHING other than studying together) couldn’t stop talking about me and she was convinced we were involved. I told her to come sit in on our study sessions if she doubted something… but instead she picked a fight with her man, broke up and aimed at my guy with vicious intent. SMH.

a "friend" of mine actually did that, once...

my girlfriend at the time about told me "do something about that, alright?"

so I went to meet him right away, and faced him without saying a word... and he didn't say anything either, for the longest minute... till he finally said "hey... how is it going?"

and I didn't respond a thing, lol... I just kept staring at him, he knew I knew... and I knew he knew that I knew... and we both knew that he was NOT going to try any of that, again, not without serious consequences

later that day, he contacted her and "apologized" to her, and said that he was only "testing" to see if she was "good" lmao...

I'd have a chat with the friend to see how much my girl did to lead him on. Then, he's out of my life for good if he was the initiator. Reciprocation is completely acceptable and wouldn't even end the friendship (it ends the marriage/relationship though), because guys are dogs, by nature. But if he started that shit, he's done with for good. Can't trust him.

Yeah, fair point for sure. I'd have to rely on my lie detection skills, I guess.

Funny point on the topic, I was a music/piano minor in college and one thing my theory professor taught was that there's a certain pitch change in voice when we lie. It's actually used in voice stress test analysis as a form of lie detection. He gave us a bunch of examples, and now I can hear it like second nature.

Yh. A gal needs to be able to make it very clear she's taken and not interested! As this kinda thing is gonna happen in many places. It should only be escalated to your aid if the guy still won't back off!
