It's just nice to be treated like a lady by a gentlemanly person after a long day of working, running errands, "mom-ing" and so on. Some guys tend to land a gal and forget the romantic stuff once they get comfortable. Other guys are rough around the edges, so romantic gestures are few and far between, which some gals are ok with and others just aren't... It's good to let your guy know how much romance you'd like in your relationship.
