How can someone be physically attracted to someone and enjoy their company and conversations, but still not what to date that person?

Just in my experience, whenever I was physically attracted to someone and enjoyed their company, I wanted to date them.

If a person isn’t relationship material it’s very possible someone finds them physically appealing and yet doesn’t see dating potential.

They could just be happy with their life as it is and don't want to date anyone. Could be a mental/emotional peace thing. Or, it could be that they lack the confidence in themselves to hold a healthy relationship down.

I mean, liking someone a little doesn't mean you'll have deeper feelings for them or interest. It could just have been a crush and maybe they found something they didn't like about the person.

Well I think you're full of it. But I'll play the game anyways. A guy can find a woman physically attractive. And even a good conversationalist even borderline charming. But KNOW she's toxic AF. I worked with this woman for the better part of 10 years. She was attractive, funny, a good conversationalist. But she only dated men that were already in relationships. Because in reality she wasn't attracted to any guy. It was all just a competition with other women.
