When you call a woman “My love” or “My baby” do you mean those?

Started being called - My babygirl, my baby, my love - Do you guys mean those words or do you just say that to anyone? I feel special and loved when being called those words.
He used to call me “love” and “baby” and recently after a few months he started adding “my”, I love it actually.

I might have said something like that before I dated a woman for the first time. Now that I've seen how women go in on stuff like that; there's no way I would say something like that to a woman without actually meaning it.

There's just too much opportunity for a comment like that to get weird, to ever say it unless I was serious.

Possessive terms, girlfriend! How is it said? Challege w chinese guys is they dont show much emotion.  Does he love you… or himself. That is the question.

Depends on the fellow. Some guys say stuff but all the words are empty. Others are genuinely affectionate and mean what they say. You can tell the difference between them bc their actions will correspond with their words in terms of showing affection and appreciation.

I'd prefer to move away from those terms because, before I became humbled or had humility, I used to be all about me me me.
I'll tell ya, folks, once you take a job or jobs that are real bottom of the ladder jobs - it humbles a person. Like being a waiter.

Yes I do mean it. I call my girlfriend.  I call " my love" in any conversation to others female. I call my girlfriend ' sweetheart, darling, baby' so on.

lol if a man said that to any woman. He might be hit with sexual harassment. It hard to call a woman that that’s even your own girl. It’s tough because even in a relationship that woman can turn on you. So even if we meant it, it could bite a man in the ass.

Depends on where in the world you are, in some parts of the UK both men and women can call anyone love though my baby and my love are only to ones partners from my experience

In my part of the world, it's either a caring way of referring to your other half, or more colloquially an informal way of referencing someone you are not connected with in a caring way, perhaps a child or dotty old person.
