I disagree. Hit the gym, look after your hair, teeth, skin, change your clothes style. Don't date anyone that came to your way. If you don't genuinely like them then you cause more harm then good. I don't date men that look like models. But I don't say I date ugly men either. There's no ugliness for me. Many hot people with shitty personality.

You need to be at least attracted to person as well too. My friend found love after 12 females he been with. My uncle go a hot wife because he is rich asf. Money works too.

I don’t know I’m 32 most of my life I have never dated and honestly no one around me seems invested in helping me progress to a point where women would actually consider me for example I don’t understand style. I also don’t know the right haircut

Help yourself. I would move to another city if I have to meet more people. Focus on your career. If you are broke too then that's unattractive. Ask the barber for a haircut that suits your face. Focus on you as you have a low esteem too.
