A girl I was going to hook up with ghosted me but chances are I’ll see her when I go back to college. how do I not make this awkward?

We met through mutual friends. One thing led to another and we eventually started sexting and agreed to hook up. She ghosted me before we could meet up and I haven’t spoken to her since. We go to the same college so the likelihood is I’ll see her about at some point. I messaged her politely saying I’d prefer if she told me wasn’t interested over text rather than having us bump into each other and be awkward, but she left me on read. I’m not interested in hooking up, I’m just looking for advice on how to prevent awkwardness if we bump into each other. Like I know we attend some of the same events so would it be weird to message her saying “hey jsyk I’m going to be here” in case she wants to avoid me?

Literally just ignore her. Like she's ignoring you. Always treat people the same way they treat you. It's basically their way of saying how they want to be treated. If she decides to start a conversation with you, just be nonchalant and keep it brief. Don't make it awkward by being serious. There's absolutely zero reason for you to bring up your feelings or your past together.
