If women dumps a man its because he wasn't good enough. If a man dumps a women he's a jerk. How familiarare you with that statement?

I've never seen anyone say a guy is a jerk for breaking up with a woman. I could see it her female friends saying that since women often enable each others bad behavior, but I don't think most people say the guy is a jerk.

@Opinon Owner "A lot" is a relative term. You've seen some breakups for sure, however because you're inexperienced, I'm guessing that actual number is small, maybe 10-20 max. For anecdotal evidence I've witnessed thousands of breakups. You have to also understand when people are talking about themselves they will always paint themselves in a more favorable light. Which side of the breakup have you heard from more male or female? One of the only way you'll get a female to be honest with you about her past is when, she is in an intimate situation with your or she has been drinking.

I'm sure it isn't uncommon for both men and women to present themselves in a more favorable light. That isn't what you asked, though.

"Kevin broke up with Kayla? What a jerk" who says that? Who immediately concludes Kevin is a jerk because he broke up with girlfriend?

Now, Kayla doesn't take the break up well and claims Kevin was emotionally abusive. In this scenario people don't think Kevin is a jerk simply for breaking up with kayla, they think he's a jerk because of the lie Kayla made up about him.

@Opinion Owner Correct that's why your statement of "I've seen a lot of people go through breakups" is a poor statement.

I don't know who Kevin and Kayla are however you could simply read comments on any social media post where a women claims that she broke up w/ a man or vice versa, to see that scenario play out. Even you in your example seek to invent a hypothetical reason why people would accuse the man of being a jerk which tells me you inherently understand I'm correct.
