What kind of relationship is this (casual, friends with benefits, etc.) and what are the expectations?

I matched with a guy on a dating app and we met up after barely exchanging any messages. I figured he was looking for a hookup, which was totally unlike me but I figured screw it, I need to do something out of my comfort zone for a change. So we went to dinner and had sex. He then went out of town for work the next day, and besides checking that I got home safely, we didn’t talk at all for two weeks until he came home again. As soon as he got back he contacted me and again dropped a decent amount of money on a nice dinner and drinks (I tried to pay but he literally took my CC when I gave It to the waiter). We slept together again and cuddled for a good hour (he initiated) until I left. That was 4 days ago and we haven’t spoken since. He did say when I left about seeing each other again so I guess it’s kind of a thing now, but what is it?

I went into this with the expectation of just hooking up. I think that was also his expectation and I assume It still is since we don’t talk in between. But between dropping probably $400 on our two nights out plus the cuddling, I dont Know if he really views me as friends with benefits? Or is this just a casual relationship and the dates and cuddling are normal? I actually really like him despite not expecting to, but I don't know that I see a relationship for us. I want to make sure I’m not leading him on.

so, thoughts on what this is? I’ve only had casual sex with one person and it was an ex who I spent NO time with outside of sex. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
