After how many dates did you make it official with your partner?

So I’ve been talking to this girl for about 3 months however because of scheduling and work we only been on 1 date. We talk almost everyday either via text or on the phone. We do have our second date coming up soon. Would it be to soon to make it official after just 2 dates even though we have been talking for a few months?

Three was the magic number -- to be fair, there was almost daily "hanging out" in between, which were just fun, laughing, chit-chatting opportunities to get to know one another. But three official dates -- I had to get all gussied up and wear heals and lipgloss for -- before the guy asked to level up to hubby status. (Same with the boyfriend.)

It usually takes me a while to actually become official just because I don't get into relationships unless I'm beyond sure about it. I don't fall for people easily. I can go on dates and hangout and have fun but to befome actually official, it takes a bit longer. Definitely over 2 months or more really.
