Not sure what to do with this guy?

me and this guy have been sleeping together on and off for two years. he sends me texts and I always respond back. But if I send anything back he completely ignores them or leaves me on read. he doesn’t talk to me after sex I get no how are you nothing. I only hear from him when he wants something. He keeps telling me that I should make more of an effort to get together. I always make an effort he doesn’t. He ditched me to go to his ex wife’s house because she was doing a birthday tea for him and he gave me the excuse that he wasn’t feeling well. I can’t communicate with him because he gets annoyed if I try and address the situation and then tells me that we’re not in a relationship I’m not his girlfriend. before Christmas last year I told him how I felt and he said that he doesn’t feel the same way and he’s basically stringing me along and that he's looking at online dating but still wants sex with me.
I feel like I’m limbo. a part of me wants to tell him I’m done but equally I don’t want to loose him.
