Do attractive men suffer a similar fate as some attractive women, where they feel alone and unattractive because people are afraid or intimidated?

I made good friends with a woman who kept assuming I must be a killer with the ladies. I confessed to her my true problem that I'm always forever alone. She was shocked. She told me the only reason it's like this for me is because I am extremely good looking.

I don't think I am. But she kept reassuring me that I am and that I make women nervous not because I'm creepy but because I look too good.

I have a history of having women approach me. Ask me out. Things like that. But when they do I get scared because I am just waiting for them to feel creeped out by me. It always happens. At first they like me and soon they're avoiding me.

It's hard to imagine the reality is that I'm just attractive.

I know this happens to women. Attractive woman can't get a date because every man is afraid of her. I just don't feel like it's the same in reverse.
