Does it take a special, honorable guy to date or be in a serious relationship with a single mom?

I'm not at the point where I'd want to date a single mom. I want kids of my own. If I learn I can't have kids of my own, then I'd be okay with it more so, but it really is a tough pill to swallow knowing that you'd be helping to raise another guy's kids and not ever have kids of your own.

And if you did have kids with the girl, then would you prioritize your kids over her ex's kids? I don't want to ever be prioritizing my kids over hers in a relationship. That's not fair to her or the kids. I'd rather just avoid the scenario altogether.

To answer the question, any decent guy cannot reject a single mom for being a single mom, that makes no sense, because single mom is not representative of a personality.
Now it doesn't mean it makes things easy, you know that, and if you are the single mom in question, in your age range, that will be tough. As 18-24 range is statistically not the age range of enlightenment 😅

Because that’s the reality of the situation. Getting involved with a woman who has a minor kid or kids at home is a worse situation than finding one who doesn’t have kids. It’s not irrelevant that she has a kid- it’s the primary thing with her.

I personally don't want kids so that would be an undesirable situation unless the woman had the child care completely covered already.
