It's a VERY bad idea to date a single mother. Some leave the fathers for good reasons and some men run out, but the majority just made awful decisions and are just looking for a provider, not someone to genuinely love. It's a recipe for being abused as a man. Oh, and they ALL claim the real father was terrible or abusive, whether he was or wasn't. It's NOT worth the risk, EVER!

Yes. If I could offer a guy advice on this matter. Do not date a woman with more than one kid. Any woman can make a mistake. Making more than one because you didn't learn from that one is not forgivable and shows a pattern of behavior. Also as a guy who's dated a single mom. Let me tell you kids will impede on your time getting to know her (which is the way it should be! Kids come first!) More than one kid makes it a near impossibility. This is why marriage comes first and then kids. If she broke that time honored tradition because of her "feelings" or did a poor job of choosing the man who would be the father of her kids, that is NOT YOUR problem! Do not f*** your life up by hitching yourself to a woman who's already f***ed up hers unless she's shown CONCLUSIVELY that she's learned from it.

You need to understand that for men, children mean responsibilities without rights. Guys usually get screwed in that domain any time there is an issue, so a man choosing to put himself in that position for another man's kids is a real, serious stretch.
