Why is he ignoring my text?

I’ve been talking to a guys for about 3 months now. We’ve met up a couple of times but we haven’t slept together yet.

We planned to one day but when the day came so did the red tide of Mother Nature so I had to cancel.
However days leading up to the day, I noticed his texting routine with me was different and this was not the first time.
So I kindly addressed this and asked him if there was something we should talk about. Not to tell him off but to see if there was a reason and if we could get over it, but if not idm staying friends.
He has now ignored that text for 2 days and I guess I just want a guys perspective on why a guy would ignore a girl after she questions his late replies.

Please be kind to me, I’m kind of heartbroken but am learning to live on in this time of silence. Please. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I understand being heartbroken especially because you’re communicating and he’s not, it’s not like you just flaked you told him you couldn’t make it because of the weather situation. Shit happens that’s our or someone’s control. To me it’s just when someone is intentionally not showing up or is consistently late that tells me she’s not interested but I’ll communicate that I don’t think it’s working out.

Some people are cowardly unlike you and can’t communicate you did the right thing by reaching out and asking. It’s understandable to be busy and not able to answer a text immediately, but waiting days is excessive. If someone doesn’t talk to me I just assume they aren’t interested and start moving on.

There is many reasons why people may do this. One is like I said too cowardly do communicate feelings, maybe he feels you’re going to reject him so he wants to reject you before you can him, if could be that he found someone else but is keeping you on the back burner in case of nothing else, it could be another reason, or a mixture of all of the above.

If you so choose you can ask him why he’s ignoring you and that you just want closure if things aren’t working out and that it makes you feel heartbroken that he’s acting this way. Tell him you will respectfully move on if things aren’t working. But you can also leave the conversation be and just start focusing on grieving the loss of this and finding somebody new.

There is another possible option as others have said that he bombed you for sex, I have no conclusive evidence this is the case, but it does happen a lot. Where if someone doesn’t get that they just move on and find whatever snake in the ground will those are the type of dudes who will get very hurt and never find a fulfilling relationship.

Sorry but he love bombed you for sex! So get the not having it on the red week. However he did not want anything more and showed it when he did not quickly get what he wanted

I'm sorry! Probably better the red monster ruined that time or it would hurt so much worse!
