Why does he text me and then ignore me when I respond?

And I even asked him what's up, felt like he was giving me a vibe he didn't really want to talk to me.

I leave him be... Then he asks me how I am. I reply, return the question, and get ignored for a crazy amount of time.

Does he not realize I know how much he is actually attached to his phone? And he texts everyone.

What do I do? Because it infuriates me. Makes me not want anything to do with him. I'm sick of being annoyed all the time. We used to be so close. He even said he had feelings for me but he's out of state and so we haven't made a move. Just remained friends. But all my other friends don't leave me hanging. He wasn't always like this. I know his habits. Does he think I forgot?

This is really hurting me. What should I say or do? Tell him he doesn't have to talk to me if he doesn't want to? No way to treat a person. Doesn't seem like a good friend to do this to me.

Girl honestly I have the same problem but my guy friend told me that he just uses me for attention or to feel good or playing me. So that's most likely it girl. I know it hurts trust me because the guy I like does that all the time and I started doing the same and he replied to my stories a couple of times and he tags me in memes sometimes but it's weird. Girl I hope it gets better and if it doesn't then you have to move on from it

He's just looking for attention and when you gave it to him, it gave him an ego boost. In other words he's using you
