Would this woman's crucifix stop you from approaching her?

In a survey off 1000 men. The first thing after her smile, guys said they noticed was her crucifix. A few said it made her look more wife material, but most said it was a big red flag because it meant she's the type who wants to remain pure until her wedding night. Others said she'd probably be hitting you with bible quotes all night.

So if she was sitting opposite you and you saw the crucifix would it put you off?

Well... The cross necklace (well, maybe not a regular necklace, since at least in Polish it has its own name related to the fact that it's a Christian symbol, but definitely not a crucifix, as @AviatorTom truthfully pointed out) might actually make her more attractive to me. What would seriously put me off, though, would be the inconsistency of her outfit. I can understand that she's... well-endowed... as they say, but a cross necklace simply does not go with such a shameless outfit. Well... Unless the setting is an insufferably hot beach, or maybe if there's a particularly severe heatwave in a concrete-covered city. One of the two signals she's sending is a lie. Given how horribly twisted "modern" Western societies are, my bet would be that the cross necklace is the lie. And that would be a red flag the size of the famous Soviet banner put up on Reichstag. It's virtue signalling all right, but it also goes far beyond that. It's pretty much a blatant disregard of the Second Commandment, since one of the symbols of God Almighty is used to provide credibility for an impure person.

However, a true crucifix, I mean one of those that the solemn kind of goth girls tends to wear, but would only be usually worn for Confirmation, would definitely make a woman more attractive for me, not less.

Okay, well, I can't say the crucifix is the first element catching my attention, on a primitive level. It would be a not so subtle lie coming from me haha. So, for that crucifix thing, in my experience, I've seen so many people carrying crucifix without strong religious views, sometimes even without spirituality involved, just aesthetics lol ! So, based on that, I wouldn't trust a crucifix to bear any significance, right from the start.

But then, I live in a country where Christianity is really moderate here, for the vast majority it seems. People don't make a fuss with it, and christian proselytes are almost non-existent, if we except the small deviant cults/sects, like jehovah's witnesses (JW), those are predators to avoid, but really a minority anyway.

So, green flag all the way, reasonably, in my cultural background ! 🟩

Haha in that survey it must have been aasked in person so the guys couldn't answer anonymously or honestly 😂😂😂😂. Smile is defo NOT first thing they would notice.

As for the necklace... it's pretty and women wear them a lot for simple jewellery and no religious connection. I wore one through most of my twenties due to loving Buffy the Vampire Slayer... who wore hers to weakly fend off a vampire wanting to give her a love bite 😉

I'm 100% sure that necklace has no effect on men. The rest of her tho... 😜😈

It's very common for women to wear a cross necklace, doesn't mean much. By the way, a crucifix is a cross with the body of Jesus hanging on it. What she's wearing is not a crucifix, it's just a cross.

First, my eyes would pop out of my head. Then when I saw the cross I would think she is a nice girl, probably from a good family. She could be real relationship material. Then I would think, “now, how do I get my hands on those…hmmmm, this must be done carefully”.  Yes, that’s it “delicately”. Dressed like that, a guy is not going to think she's a nun. Come on. And even if she had on conservative dress that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Same for a cross. It depends on the individual. It's more about what she says and how she acts at the end of the day.

Why would it stop me? It won't outright stop me though as an atheist it may be a slight turn off but far from enough to make her unapproachable. I respect peoples right to religion even if i do not believe in it myself
