I think a lot harder. To get female attention you’ve gotta be pretty outstanding. This is also pushed a lot by social media. You gotta be handsome, tall, be in great shape, somehow a millionaire in your early 20s.

That’s what seems to attract a lot of attention from women. Even still you end up with a girl who’s not that great who’s hot but has jumped around men and has been a wh*re.

However the odd rare time you will see a plain normal guy with a great girl.

People who say we have it harder…. Look what men used to go through men used to work hard to even survive let alone have a family.

Its easier now then ever to find someone you can work at Starbucks and meet a wife. Maybe not all women are into you…. But most people are getting married and having kids. At some point or another.

Finding the right person just takes time and becoming too desperate to just be with any snake in the grass that will take you will make your life a living hell much worse then being single ever will.

Finding someone used to be much harder. Now people can go online and find someone.

I'd say for the man you describe, 20 or older, having your cash in order, nice face, in good shape, tall. You'll always get women, and put out very little effort to do so. That would be the same in caveman days, but replace cash with food.

I think the group that is truly screwing themselves are young women engaging in hypergamy. Like short term guys are losing out and have to work harder to pull in more women when they get older. Long term women are creating a situation where the new dynamic is get married to the guy who pops your cherry or hit the streets.

I knew a guy in his 70s that was still pulling waitresses like once every other month, his pension was small, he owned his house, and he still pulled. Having your shit in order is all you really need, and to keep putting yourself out there.

Looksmaxxing movement for guys (most guys are fit and well groomed now)

Body positivity movement for girls (70% are fat now and virtually undateable for many guys)

All girls, regardless of attractiveness, covet the top 20% of men and are impossible to impress for most guys (actually this is nothing new, but it does compound the problem in light of the above)

I think the dating market would improve if guys collectively exerted more market power... they should stop using dating apps altogether (which only work for women anyway), stop settling for fat or unattractive girls, and prefer being single when women don't meet their standards

Approach a woman and be confident like you’re supposed to and you’ll easily end up on the wrong side of a harassment charge for persisting. If you do get a date you end up going through trials to become her slave. That’s been my experience. I’m not saying my experience will be your experience I’m just saying expect the unexpected

Define "dating" first. Fucking has gotten way easier. Situationships, FBs, FWBs, etc... are way easier. LTRs are definitely harder. Marriages are way tf harder.

If you just mean all the intro phases of formal dating processes, I'd say it's probably harder too. At least for the bottom 80% of guys.

It's gotten easier for me. But at this age women are less desired so now I'm a viable option to them.

For men overall I'd say it's gotten harder as women especially the younger ones are more aggressive, hostile, and just looking for a good time really. It's been my experience that most of them are just looking for a hookup.
