Maybe try to bring up the fact that you don't have a date yet but would like to go if asked to do so? Some guys are clueless at picking hints up though. I couldn't tell ya how many times I've been kicking myself in the head for not seizing opportunity when it was there because I didn't clearly see that it was there.
