Well the entire thing is based around online dating being about looks.

Well yeah, it's an entire thing created based mainly on pictures that you see of the other people and you can immediately swipe on that person, usually based on pictures alone. That's a very superficial concept from the start. Online dating was always going to be a nightmare. It wasn't designed to work any other way.

The thing about the more the site pushes for casual hookups, the more women picked based on physical attractiveness is true though. If it's just a one night thing or casual hookup like tinder is mainly pushing then women are more likely to choose physically attractive men because it's for a hookup only. Wheres more than just looks ate important for an actual relationship.

But moral of the story... Don't use online dating at all. It's always been garbage and always will be. it's fast food of dating. Easier and quicker but it's ultimately not that good and probably bad for you.

I can only speak for myself. I don't use dating apps. I don't date for looks or money. I date someone cause I made a connection, something about triggers interest. I don't too much like pretty boys but hope they are cute, at least decent to look at
