Am I too OLD for him?

I am 25 years old, and he is 19 years old. 😳

My entire life, I have always liked older guys. I was repulsed by the idea of dating or being romantically interested in someone younger than me. A few years a go, I idiotically turned down a guy I was really interested in because I found out he was 15 DAYS younger than me. Basically, I never saw myself with someone younger.

I met the 19 year old six months ago at the animal shelter we volunteer at. He came up to me and we started talking for about a month.
Due to my grandma going into the hospital, I stoped going to the shelter for two weeks. When I returned he asked how I was, said he missed me, and asked for my number because he didn’t want to lose me.

After that we began talking a lot more often and hanging out. I only saw him as a friend or little brother, but in the past week my feelings have changed. I feel weirded out by my feelings since he is so much younger and I never expected this.

The reason I like him is because he seems to genuinely care about me and he actually listens when I talk.
Usually, guys are only interested in me for my looks and body. They interrupt me when I’m speaking just to tell me how beautiful I am. (I appreciate the compliment, but it makes me feel like they weren’t even listening to me.) Sometimes they stare at my boobs the whole conversation. (I don’t even wear revealing clothes.)

He rarely ever mentions my looks and looks in my eyes when we talk. He also remembers the little things that I say and checks in on me. He asks how I feel and how my day is. He always nags me to get more sleep. When I was sick and he was out of town, he drove hours to come over, make me soup, and take care of me. I never imagined anyone would do that for me.

Also, he doesn’t look like a baby. I was shocked when he told me he was 18 (he was 18 when we met. 🫤😳) I thought he was 23.
I think I look my age, but every thinks I am 15 - 18. He was shocked we he found out I was 25.
