Do self confident girls also find difficult to say a plain no when a guy invite her out?

I thought that if you ask a self confident girl out would make no problem at all to say a direct no when I ask her out, but I saw that she also had some problems.

Yeah man, I think even really confident girls can find it hard to say no sometimes. Here are a few reasons why:

- It can be awkward/rude - Even if they're not interested, most girls don't want to straight up reject a guy cause it feels mean. Easier to let him down easy.

- Safety issue - If they say no too harshly, some crazy dudes might get pissed and make things uncomfortable. Girls gotta look out for that.

- Unsure how you'll react - She doesn't know if you'll get all mad and possessive if she's blunt. Better to smooth it over just in case.

- Ego boost - Some girls like the attention even if they say no. Feeds their ego to know guys wanna take them out.

- Leaving door open - By not saying no 100%, she leaves a sliver of hope you'll change her mind. Or in case she gets bored/lonely later on.

So in the end, I think confidence or not, it's just human nature to avoid outright rejection when possible. As long as she's letting you down easy and not stringing you along, wouldn't read too much into it, ya know? Just take the hint and move on to the next.
