Some time ago I asked a guy out for a walk. Initially he said 'yes', but due to my unorthodox working-time I could only meet on Friday and Saturday. He said that he would rather not for about 2 weeks, because there were the speedway races. The two weeks finished and I asked again. He said that there are still some races, he hasn't checked the dates, yet and he does not really like walks. I added that if he changed his mind and does not want to go out with me, he just Has to say, I won't bother him anymore. He then said he had a lot going on right now, but he will be the one to tell me when he can. I asked how long I should wait for, he said: not long. I really like him, but I feel dejected by the situation and I AM wondering if I AM not too naive. Especially, considering that when we met earlier to ride bikes I didn't encounter this problem.

I am so busy between my normal hellish shifts and working out of town, believe it or not at a racetrack. I have no idea when I can do anything unless I have my calendar in front of me.
Or he just isn't that interested and instead of actually telling you he is doing that, which sucks.
