Do you consider a persons net worth when dating?

This question might be more for the OLDER more established crowd of G@G. People always talk about education, income, possibly even debt. But I've always felt a persons net worth is relevant since it gives a more accurate depiction of a person's overall success since the goal of life is to build lasting wealth (or at least i've always felt that way). I meet a lot of people my age with decent paying jobs, decent education maybe but a lot of them are either in horrendous debt or have minimal assets to show for it.

What say you?

What would you say is a good net worth at 40, 50 and 60?

no, but debt I do. that's difference in values or issues and when married, am taking it all on... the debt and the emotional issues.

I've seen emotional issues blow up relationships as much as debt/financial differences.

For a net worth? No idea what it should be. I think more in terms of passive income minus expenses. My goal is to get to the point where my rental units bring in enough passive income to pay all expenses and then some.
