From an accounting PIV you need to determ9ine a balace sheet. Though the theory is far more complex you coold use, Owners Equity ( what your net worth is) =assets - liabilities. Your worth ( again from am accounting perspective is considered in your case "Owners Equity+ Assets ( usually defined as cash and cash equivalents which are any investment that you can liquidate for cash in 72 hours). In many cases a company will have various types of accounts that cover every transaction. So whichever you want to do eg. only those assets that are cash or securities you could convert to cash in a few days. From assets you would then subtract any liabilities which, for simplicity's sake. You look at what you will be paying out - in a short period If you subtract liabilities from assets and the amount left over is (if a positive #) means that you made that much money. If you have a negative # after subtracting assets =from. The entire process is referred to as double entry book keeping. Invented or perhaps codified by the Venetians sometime between the the era of is a very close look at the financial health. Since it is double entry- meaning that every time you ad or subtract anything you enter something on boh sides of the equation. This became popuklar quickly since the merchants of venice to coin a phrase had previously used single entry book keeping. In this case - and thios is how many of the home financial software is single entry,. in this, you start of with a number that- like double entry- The business owner generally puts a certaoin amount of his savings alone or sometimes in combination with other partners. Single entry shows a starting figure of whatever you decide assets are. They are always any cash and some amount of immediate cash or cash equivalents- Ac counts receivable if you have a good reason to be. After that you simply add any earnings any revenue as the. It's the same thing as a running total.
Double entry accounting is what businesses. The virtues of that are rhe ability to set up lots of accounts so you use and it's much harder to get away with extortion is the basis for any professional financial. Single entry used to be sold in home business software but it's not with anything unless you account for every disbursement and every payment go into the Capital account and at the end of your accounting period the only thing you have is a current total ( expenses, revenues etc. can be created and shown. As long as all the entries are noted and no mistakes were made in the process. Though there are some software allows a little more detail than I just did. It does not have the advantage that double entry has- the ability to detect an anomaly immediately.
Sorry, that was a piss poor simple explanation. Accounting cover so many areas that its hard to find specialty. Double entry software usually is covered in 3 university level classes. The first in financial accounting. It's usually 2 classes to pass the course for credit. Financial accounting is where you would find most of what Tried to explain above. It relies on coding transactions properly so it shows an increase/ decrease to the total. Good luck. Hopefully someone does a better job of explaining than I did

A person's worth is based on what that person brings to the situation, not how much money that person has in the bank or how many toys they have. The more considerate a person is of others, the more value they have. Unfortunately, people are becoming more self-serving than considerate, so it is harder to find people who have more than momentary worth.

I don't have a clue anymore . I think it's more to do with how much I do for my friends and family than how much I have in the bank. There are many modest people who were not wealthy but after they die leave a big void to fill.

I think doing that is bad for your mental health.

To state what your current worth is just makes you that less likely to wanna improve yourself, in my opinion.

Doesn't matter who you are, there's always room for improvement.

I do not really think about it, mostly because I know at the end of the day I am worth something to people around me. For some, I am the friendly food delivery guy who makes their day by bringing them food. To others, I am an emotional support. And yet, I am also a buddy, a brother, an acquaintance or even a stranger.

As long as I know I am worth something to someone, I try to be happy and know that I am important and helpful in some way or another.

    You can't.

Worth is relative, one person's trash is another's treasure.

If you mean financial worth, as in how much you own/assets/money/net worth, typically a calculator is good for that.

Monetary worth is just a math problem; add up your assets and subtract your liabilities. Worth of your soul is not for any of us to determine, but it's worth more than any earthly possession you can compare it against.
