Why do some people call tall women stuck up and vain for preferring taller men?

Is it so wrong that most of us prefer tall men? I mean not tall women want tall men but I think it’s unfair to call out tall women for having a preference in men taller than us when short and average height women do. Well short and average women are naturally shorter than most men so they’re so lucky. They have more options and their dating pool is larger than tall women, especially us tall women over 5’7.
I am 6’4” and I know I prefer taller men but I do give shorter men a chance. In a dating app, a 6’10 man said he prefers short women like under 5’6 and he doesn’t want giant kids. Okay I respect that. I don’t want really short kids. I’m okay if a guy is my height or 6’0. Guy I was seeing was 6’6 but he didn’t wanna look like he did a seen with another dude. I got called stuck up and too vain to date short men. Hello? My ex boyfriend was 5’7 and we were together for a year in a half.

I really do not know what you are dealing with but I can tell you that lots of guys would be happy to date somebody who is sincere and sweet and would not think that having her be taller would be a big deal.

Let me clarify something for my line of thinking. If you want someone taller than you then I can understand that. But if you demand someone who is about 6ft and above and you're barely 5 feet tall... im sorry but I can't get behind that. So I can understand the being preferences to a degree.

I just find it a little odd when women say they want a guy who is 6'2+ but isn't tall herself. Also delusional to think she has a good chance at finding someone she's compatible with in such a small pool of men.
