When a guy play with my earrings what does it mean?

So he is my colleague i called him because I had something important to ask my earrings was kept on my desk he took my earrings and started playing with it he was striking my earrings as if it's a carrom board striker his best friend (a girl) was sitting beside me she commented " if her earrings break you will be buying her new earrings". What this gesture mean.. i m not close to him

Hmm that's kinda weird that your co-worker was messing with your earrings like that. Guys don't usually play with girls' jewelry unless there's some underlying reason for it.

A few possibilities for what it could mean:

- He was flirting with you and it was like his weird awkward way of getting your attention or touching something of yours. Messing with jewelry is kinda intimate.

- Maybe he thinks you're cute and was trying to act cool in front of his friend as a way to show off a little. Like "look how comfortable I am with her stuff."

- It's also possible he was just being silly and didn't think much of it. But for his friend to comment like that, it seems like they may have been joking around about him liking you.

If you're usually friendly at work, he may have just been playing around. But I'd keep an eye on how he interacts with you going forward - does he find excuses to touch you or your things more? That could be a sign he's interested. Hard to say for sure from this one incident! Let me know if you notice anything else weird from him.

Probably something bothering him or he was while there and had nothing else to fidget with, maybe they are big and he had to occupy himself not realizing he could break them. I would say something was definitely on his mind
