How come girls never want me?

Every girl I approach says oh, I have a boyfriend. They can't all have boyfriends and I mean I am just cold approaching them, so they don't really even know me and i know that doesn't really help, but you would think they could give it a chance. I don't ever recall even getting a phone number from these girls unless it was a dating app. Then they give out their number

The cold approach says it all I think. cold, nothing to relate to, boring, disjointed. I don't see any good reason to give a chance to that. Otherwise, @LiamJHayden has a returning idea that is interesting in itself. ONLY if your personality is adequate, because if you approach volunteering with a shallow idea to get dating out of it, I'm afraid it will quickly incompatible with the field you'll walk into.

To me that's the exciting part. You know nothing about the person, so to me that's half the fun is getting to know them, but nobody puts the time or effort in these days.

Hmmm I get the interest you have, but the problem is that for this to work then this interest must be mutual. It's very unlikely you find any girl excited by this and there is a good reason: Girls have been already approached by 1024 boring guys before you show up. So, from their perspective, you are just the 1025th

Wide net. If I go on the prowl, sometimes I might have to cold approach 20 or more before even one says, "Okay."

If the cold approach does not work for you at all, try volunteering. People laugh at the idea, but you will meet nice girls who are demonstrating that they actually care about others.

Well, I mean they'll approach me in a bar or club, but not any other time out in public, I can land dates on tinder fairly often at least until they banned me. I haven't been on a date in probably a year now. I can't land ever land a girl walking up to her in real life

Sorry to hear that :(i think cold approach is always bad dont do it. Girls dont trust strangers they met on the street with all these crazy kidnap stories. U might be a good guy but there is plenty of jerks out there who r willing to hurt a woman who gives them a chance. Try to go to places where u can talk to women in safe environment like dance classes or language courses.
