Ok. So weird. Votes so far are overwhelmingly anti makeup so why is it that painted up women are far more pursued than natural women?

They're different women in each pair of pictures. Personally the ones without the make up look like they aren't on show and thus more authentic and like themselves: They're perhaps less guarded and suspicious too and therefore more easy to approach.

The ake is all very OTT. No makeup doesn't mean frumpy. Also, photos don't do non makeup people a lot of justice. I guess it's like @Shiprex said. Prefer for what purpose

Well just put the picture it's hard to tell personally for me I would go the person without the makeup but at the same time I have to be honest and I would have to talk to both of them and I would go with the one that has the most beautiful heart I know the questions about the makeup but that's what I mean it's who the person is on the inside and I would rather see a girl with a good tan instead of putting makeup on but it's the same time lol it's not what I want it's about what she wants

Men don't prefer make up, women wearing make up tend to be the ones out to hook up and thus on the radar to do so. Women without are more appealing to men though for they are not all looking to hook up and move on. They're NOT the same.

Like I said the women with make up are sending a message they're interested in being noticed. Men looking for some hookup action will notice that and approach. It's not because they prefer them. That's the raison d'etre of hook up culture in a nutshell. It's a few men chasing the many women who are seeking some action

Choose implies long term and I think most of the men responding here are using that as the implication. YOU, on the other hand, are asking why aren't they choosing made-up girls. I've tried to explain to you what men look for and the context is important.
Hook up will go for those who look like they are up for that (= make-up). CHOOSE meaning be with for extended time and be content with the truth (make up hides that as a mask)

Of course it is. If you're looking for long term relationships going out and hooking up with in bars and clubs isn't the way to do it. Apps are also flawed as women will get taken for hook ups by the same 10% of men over and over because that's where players gonna play. The 90% of men on there get ignored just like the 90% of men going about their lives around you. Organic mating today is rare given the status men who aren't 8-10s feel about how they're perceived and the standards or preferences most men aren't able to match. Juice isn't worth the squeeze for a öot of them.
