Why would a guy who wouldn’t commit be upset that I now have a boyfriend?

I dated this guy earlier this year and he said that he couldn’t commit because he was too busy to be in a relationship and wasn’t over his ex. I started distancing myself from him when I met my boyfriend and fast forward to now, I take a picture with my boyfriend and posted as a story on IG. Then lo and behold, I get a message from Mr. Non-Committal and he asks if he’s (my boyfriend) the reason why he and I fell out.

While I have zero interest in this man now, I wonder why he has all these questions now?

Hmm that is weird for sure, girl. A few thoughts on why dude might be trippin now:

- Even though he didn't want to commit, deep down he probably still liked you and is jealous to see you moved on. Some dudes can't handle rejection!

- Seeing you happy with someone new is forcing him to confront that he messed up by not locking it down when he had the chance. Now he regrets it.

- He might've thought you'd always be around waiting in the wings for him. Seeing you off the market burst that ego bubble.

- Dude could low-key still have feelings and the sight of you with another guy stirred some possessive nonsense.

- He might just be a confusing player who wants you as an option even if he won't commit. Can't stand not having you on the hook!

Who knows what's really up with dudes like that, sis. Don't let it stress you - you dodged a bullet by not ending up with a mama's boy like him!

Block and delete his number hon. You got way better things to focus on, like enjoyin' your boo in peace!
