It means he is attracted and, at least for now, wants a future with you.
So he wants to be in a committed relationship with me. Like officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Is that correct?

Then what?
He might want a committed relationship, but he might only want casual sex. He probably wants the commitment but don’t operate on guesses or assumptions; ask him.
