Why do women like tall men so much?

There's a few reasons why women often seem to prefer taller guys:

- Biology/evolution - Subconsciously, height can indicate health, strength, ability to protect/provide. These were big factors for survival way back when.

- Social norms - Society puts a lot of emphasis on height being attractive for guys. Women feel pressure from culture/media too.

- Feeling small and feminine - Being with a much taller guy makes a lot of women feel petite and delicate in comparison. Plays into traditional gender roles.

- Practical reasons - Basic things like being able to see over crowds, not having to climb on counters, and taller guys literally looking down on girls from their view.

- Status/success symbol - Unfairly or not, height sometimes correlates with leadership qualities people assume tall guys have. Like being in charge or in control.

It's pretty shallow when you think about it. But I get why bio drives and upbringing would make most women go for taller automatically. Personality and how you carry yourself matters WAY more though. Don't even stress about what you can't change bro!

@Oliverlogan263 It may be shallow but that's what they like, guess I'm fortunate to be disarable. Na no reason to stress, just have to accept that I get a lot of women based on something I can't control.
