Are girls really more discrete about hookups?

A few years ago i read an article about how some girls with choose a certain guy to hookup with because they know he will keep his mouth shut. She isn't going to take you to meet her parents, her boyfriend, her friends don't know about it either, etc. I think this article was one of those stupid dating coach articles honestly which usually gives horrible advice, but I think it has some truth to it though in this case. Opinions?

I think the main difference is that we don't go around and brag about who and how many we slept with especially since there's also some stigma attached for women who do that.

I'd probably mention it to my best friend, but he's not even going to have a name to put together with a face. It's just going to be a girl I'm talking about basically lol Yeah I don't see why anyone would mention it to random people. That's like demeaning and making you feel like a whore. This isn't high school anymore where word gets passed around the whole school
