Guys' opinion in girls that hook up?

I don't understand why most of the guys that I slept with wonders about my body count? Am I being ignorant or it really is just not that deep? I'm genuinely curious as to why guys ask that?

As a man who doesn't sleep around I do want to know how many other men have experienced my potential life partner. Just because they may have slept with more people than me doesn't turn me off from them but it is good to know and generally lower is better.

Example: My last relationship when we ended up having the discussion (after we had slept together a few times) I told her I had been with 3 women including her and she responded with "14 I think I'm not sure" the number for me was a little high and the not being sure of exactly how many was a little concerning making me think it was higher.

Generally I would like my partners body count to be closer to mine but it has not been a deal breaker in the past and we had a very good 2 year relationship.

Dont know. They shouldn't care about it. What if a woman is turned off when you have more body count than her. Its absurd to think that in the first place.
