Which is the better way of getting into a healthy relationship and not getting into another toxic relationship? I'm a woman with learning disabilities been in some previous relationships that were bad and one was toxic. I only been in one good relationship that also ended for me. It is better to get to know a guy in real life than is compared to online dating which is not good for healthy long term relationships. I'm maybe attracted to one guy that I saw at the time at an adult gaming event on Thursday that I went on holiday. Not seen him the other two Thursdays. I do not want to make the same mistake of choosing bad guys. I have to date or be in a relationship with men with moderate learning disabilities. They can also be real good guys or bad guys too. I'm been okay.

In person dating or, if you must, video dating. Even the untrained person can detect signs of deception in others, through body language, tone of voice and word choices. The internet allows people to cover everything up more easily. From the beginning and to this day, the internet has compelled even the most altruistic among us to be closer to the person they want to be or the person they think others expect them to be, rather than just be themselves. We’re also churning out people who operate heavily on instant gratification. So too few people are actually trying to become the person they want to be BEFORE they try to snare the mate they think that version of themselves deserves. Ell oh ell!
In short, if you want a healthy relationship, start by being a healthy SINGLE human being. Then go out into the world and seek out other healthy human beings in person. You’ll likely actually find them along the way because they’ll be doing the same things you’re doing to get right with themselves and the world before THEY try to meet someone. This is when the friend zone SHOULD be applied. Don’t start working on “us” before you’re done working on you. First things first.

Relationships can form from both , just depends on the chemistry and connection you both share with each other , is pretty much what’s most important, a healthy relationship is 2 people choosing each other over everyone else in this world , you both prioritize each other , and value and appreciate each other. You remove selfishness for each other and stand by each other no matter what obstacles come your way , you are both a team. You work together and not against each other. You have each others’ backs and lift each other up when one of you falls down. Love only grows between 2 people that choose each other. Finding that with someone is the hard part , especially these days. Why it’s best to treat someone the same way you want to be treated in return, it won’t always be perfect , but when you give to someone the same way you want to receive from that person, is usually an indication that person likes you as well. Don’t settle for someone that treats you like a convenience, if someone truly wants to be by your side , they will prove it and not hesitate

I think it's better to find someone in real life vs online dating if you can. I know it's harder but a lot of guys on there are just looking for ons. There are a few that are looking for ltr but it's rare.

I had try online dating and all i got were low value men that were on mild learning disabilities. is was only good for meeting new men but not going anywhere but right back to start with lot of online dating been likes this.

My learning disabilities very much rare and can't see with a naked eye. is also genetic to. can't find anywhere on web part from NHS. 18-P is what my learning disabilities.

Choose your fishing hole carefully. Educational institutions usually best at pre-weeding creeps, that includes night school and/or schools for hobbies, academics, sports etc. Bad place are bars. It really depends on what you want. Bait your hook accordingly, I mention schools & classes since someone learning tennis, music, accounting will have concentration of certain type of individual. Bars offer multiple downsides 1) clientele is one and the peculiar vision hormonally challenged get when fertilized with alcohol can have uncertain results. I reckon you have more chance with meeting the right peoole not on dating apps have you thought of perhaps a professional or private introduction agency? . For me it’s more natural in person but it’s about being in the right place at the right time so I do understand the appeal of dating apps.

i don't think it matters how you got her contact in the first place. i think your process of sorting out partners that are not fitting what you need and working with partners who are what you need is what determines the quality of the outcome. the means of getting their contacts is irrelevant for that.

I have noticed a change with some men they might not approach very good looking women or attractive / cute women. i more on cute side of being attracted. i only get glance at or looked at me when comes to some guys in real life. as well some in social events.
